The new RAM tab contains all the same information as before, but it’s now organized into categories so you can see at a glance which apps are using the most memory.If you are running out of RAM, the ‘Free Up’ button can help free up some memory.
Storage Disk
The Storage Disk tab shows you what’s taking up space on your Mac’s hard drive. You can see how much space is being used by Applications, Images, Documents, Movies, Audio, and other files. The ‘Free Up’ button can remove unnecessary files to free up space with a few clicks.
Battery
The Battery tab shows you information about your Mac’s battery, including how much charge it has and your current power usage.
Protection
The Protection tab shows you information about the security of your Mac, including any malware that may be present. The ‘Check now’ button will scan your system for malware and remove it if found.

What Is Changing In The Year 2022?
CleanMyMac X will stop receiving regular updates on macOS 10.10 and 10.11 (OS X Yosemite and El Capitan), so if you’re using one of those operating systems, it’s time to upgrade. The software is still available for download, but it won’t be receiving any more updates in the future. If you’re using macOS 10.12 or higher, you’ll continue to receive updates as usual.
